Join us for a performance by 10 young poets who share their work inspired by our theme of “resistance.” 10 local poets will be chosen to perform their original works and those chosen will receive $100 as compensation for their work.

If you are interested in submitting a poem, individuals must be between 13 and 20 years of age and poems but be a maximum of 5 minutes in length when spoken. Works may be submitted to [email protected] by September 10th to be considered. Poets are free to submit multiple works but only one will be chosen per entrant.

Join us after the performances to view the exhibition, The White Rose: The Student Resistance against Hitler, Munich 1942-1943 on loan from The White Rose Foundation in Munich.
