In the Footsteps of Hitler: A Walking Tour of Munich

November 12, 2022 |
 2:00 pm -
 12:00 am
$0-5

Register Here

Travel to Munich, Germany and learn about the origins of the Nazi Party and the history lessons we are still learning today. Virtual and in-person options available.

Travel to Munich, Germany, the birthplace of the Nazi Party. Learn about the Third Reich by visiting areas associated with the political rise of Adolf Hitler – beginning with the Beer Hall Putsch. See locales connected to Nazi power, brutality, and terror. Attendees will learn: about the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany; how the city Munich played a key role in many significant historical events eventually leading to the Holocaust; the continuing grappling with Munich’s dark past (Vergangenheitsbewältigung); different approaches to remembrance and commemoration.

This is a hybrid program with both in-person and virtual options available. Register on Eventbrite. This program is free for GAHC members or included in the price of admission to the museum. This is available free via Zoom for GAHC members and $5 for non-member Zoom access.
