Preserving a Dyeing Art: German Blueprint opens Sunday, September 18th! Join us at 2:00 pm for an opening reception with refreshments and a short introductory video on the traditional art of Blaudruck. Afterwards, guests are welcome to view the exhibition on the 3rd floor featuring original textiles from the Blaudruck workshop in Jever, Germany, blueprint items on loan from the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library in Cedar Rapids, and the Amana Heritage Society in Amana, Iowa.

We will also have free admission to the museum all day!
