The ongoing safety of our German American Heritage Center and Museum (GAHC) visitors, volunteers and staff is our top priority. We are continuing to follow social distancing, masking, and cleaning/sanitization protocols.
All GAHC staff, volunteers, and visitors are required to wear a mask while they are in the building, unless medically unable. Masks will be provided to those without. While the GAHC is excited to see masking restrictions lifted, at this time, the impact of this lift on our community is unknown. For this reason, the GAHC is continuing to mask up, but are monitoring the situation and will reevaluate as more information comes to light.
CLEANLINESS AND SANITATION
Our building is frequently cleaned and sanitized for the safety of GAHC staff, volunteers, and visitors.
Hand sanitizing stations are posted throughout the building. We encourage all guests, volunteers and staff to wash or sanitize their hands frequently.
For some virtual programs, we are now offering socially distanced screenings. Seats for this option are limited and must be reserved. Masking is required throughout the duration of the program. Seating is socially distanced.
We are pleased to begin offering some in-person programming. Masking and socially distancing is still required.
Our building rental guidelines for meetings, weddings, and other events are limited to daytime rentals ending at 5pm. Please call us to inquire about our rental guidelines: (563)-322-8844
