“Music,Motion, and Mindfulness: A 3D Journey to the Golden era of German- American Physical Training”

Davenport native Ed Thomas, Ed.D. began practicing the art of Indian Clubs and harmonicas as a boy in the early 1950’s. These historic forms of health training are still widely used in physical training, therapy, and even recommended to treat COPD,PTSD, and other illnesses. Join us as Dr. Thomas explains, demonstrates, and conducts the practical application of these two beautiful and powerful gifts given to the Quad Cities by the German Turners with his talk “Music,Motion, and Mindfulness: A 3D Journey to the Golden era of German- American Physical Training”. The demonstration will be Saturday July 7th at 2PM

Dr. Thomas has an extensive background in Physical Education including but not limited to:
Instructional Systems Specialist, U.S. Army Physical Fitness School
Director, Upper Iowa University, Fort Benning
Instructional Systems Specialist GS-11, U.S. Army Physical Fitness School
State Health and Physical Education, and Substance Abuse Prevention

Dr. Thomas has been recognized for his contributions and efforts many times!
