Education
Our museum prides itself on the wonderful educational experience we can provide.
The German American Heritage Center & Museum is temporarily closed due to COVID-19. Since you are not able to leave home to visit us, we have brought the museum to you through a variety of online content.
The GAHC will soon be offering Virtual Field Trips- contact our Education and Development Coordinator, Olivia, for more information- olivia@gahc.org.
The German American Heritage Center & Museum is happy to welcome students to the museum for field trips. Our experienced staff and docents will guide you and your class through the museum, offering a unique way to connect with and learn about the German immigrant experience.
In addition to bringing a class to visit the museum on a field trip, museum staff can come to your classroom or group to provide unique and informative presentations.
The GAHC has a number of topics related to German culture, holidays, history, and immigration available for all grade levels. Presentations now available virtually!
Undergraduate/graduate level internships and project opportunities are always available at the GAHC.
See our Resources page for more educational resources.
Assistance is available for all programs, both on-site and off-site.
